Not gonna lie.

k/d may not always determine the game but unless the other team is braindead you will never win a round with a 100/200 team k/d. k/d can be a good heretic to determine how good your squad was on the defence cap; squad went 35/10 on defence, you probably never lost the defence flag. k/d is not the be all end all stat but it is a good metric if you consider the context of what your squad was doing during the round. If you were attacking a point and went 30/90 you would barely break even in tricket difference if you only capped one point, but if you were attacking and went 50/25 and never took the cap you're +5 since you only get 20 tickets for capping a neutral flag.
