"Is my dead wife in hell?" A redditor shares their moving experience about losing faith.

It is entirely your right to not like Christianity. But if we're going to discuss it in terms of the facts of what it signifies,... we can only look to the Bible and God itself.

Hence the revulsion of my comments to some people when all they are is just referencing the bible. Unless they want me to reference specific verses but I have 0 doubt that no one will look up the verses if I start quoting them, people don't actually want to understand Christianity or read the bible, be it again or for the first time. It seems they just want to attack it but at least understand it before you do...

No a good deed doesn't count if a Christian does it either because good works don't lead to God, God leads to good works. Or that's what it says. And Christians are heavily encouraged to go around trying to convert others or tos hare their faith etc etc and to lead lives so that others might be inspired. You're never encouraged to disregard your friends.

Though my christian friends disregarded me because I was different... Hypocrites. Regardless the bible remains a book with words in it and those words can be read and understood. This will be my last comment in this thread because I am tired of being attacked.

No they don't think they deserve it, they reflect what the bible says.
