I feel like this is a big double standard. I’m a guy and my number is around 8-10 at 25. At least 1-2 of those people would fall into the “people who didn’t matter category”. At what number does it turn into a problem? Is it a percentage? Why is it a bag thing as long as you’re safe and communicate with your partner?

Everyone loves sex. Sometimes people just want to get off, and not deal with the emotional connection. Some people need to have an emotional connection to have sex, but some dont and that’s no issue as long as it’s safe and with consenting partners. Don’t judge people because they are different than yourself.

That being said... I personally think 70 is a pretty damn high number. But, it could indicate that she had a problem in the past.

Also per OPs math, he said she slept with someone every two months approximately. Are you having sex at least every two months with her? My wife and I have also talked about our past and one night stands and hook ups are way different in terms of emotions. We both agree that relationship sex is better and you love that person and get to know their body. But during a one night stand you don’t have to worry about that, or seeing that person the next day or their issues. It’s pure adrenaline and lust and excitement. And I can see how some people would give into that over a relationship for a period of time in their life. Most move on, maybe that’s what your girlfriend is doing.
