Well, I’m not sure if this applies. I guess it does? It’s the only real success I’ve had thus far.

I moved back in with my mom after a terrible divorce and didn’t have a car... or really anything left. I had been trying to manifest one for some time, but didn’t really feel like it was going anywhere. I ended up doing some unrelated revision (about my ex husband, I felt stuck and like he was blocking anything good in my life) and as soon as I was done, I went outside to find my mom talking with my neighbor who was trying to sell her his car.

Anyway, she ended up buying it for me (even when I insisted she didn’t have to) and I had the car for a couple weeks. I was driving it and it felt extremely unaligned so we took it in to have it looked at/realigned. Anyway, when it was being looked at, the frame cracked completely and it was un-drivable.

The mechanic told me I was lucky because apparently if I had been driving it and slammed on the brakes suddenly, the crack would’ve happened anyway.

So after we sold it (to someone who wanted it for parts), my mom was pretty keen on getting a sedan since she had gotten used to it and found a sedan more practical than her SUV for her commute to/from work. She ended up buying another sedan that works great, thankfully, and since I work from home/pretty much only go to places nearby, I’m free to use her SUV as my daily car.

I haven’t really had any more success since then, but a lot of my previous anxieties have resurfaced (due to new situations that were provoked by my ex), so I probably have a bit more revision to do.
