I've watched my friends cycle through R+F with morbid curiosity too. I've seen it as pitiful as grown women "prayerfully considering a big life change" and then, announcing their mlm gig only to quit a few months to having a hometown friend actually make it pretty far up the pyramid. Of course, I doubt she does as well financially as she implies but she did well enough to give a talk at the R+F conference. She is always winning trips & computers and she has the "rolling trophy." For the record, it is no less cringe inducing to see the higher up pyramid folks than it is to see the lowest ranks. In fact, I may feel more sorry for her because she's definitely put all her eggs in this basket. You're right, though, it is all fascinating.
