I will say it is refreshing to see the bears go back to their dens, it was getting tiring having them talk down to everyone as if they had some crystal ball and could tell what the market was going to do, I do feel a sense of schadenfreude for them, finding a small joy in watching them hold on to their puts as they become ever closer to being worthless. That said as a long term investor with decades of accumulation left, I have no desire for the market to keep going up in a straight line, it would be nice if things could slow down a bit so I could have more latter. The one thing for certain, the bear scare is a great reminder that timing the market is such a futile task, there is no use trying to, so I will just buy with every paycheck.
