I never said we were perfect, but we can try our best to help these people fix what is broken and corrupt. There is nothing wrong with offering a solution to a problem when no one else will, even if it isn't the greatest plan in the world. It's still the only one we have. The most we can do is free the people who have been oppressed, and help set up a better government that is one that is more equal. Imagine you have a friend that got in an abusive relationship. She had her entire life wrecked and is miserable, and goes to you for help. You would help her go to the abusive partner and end the relationship, remove the issue from her life and help her rebuild. If she can't keep her life together after your help, then maybe that's on her, but you got rid of the problem, gave an effective solution to rebuild her life, and let her go on to live her life again. That's exactly what we would be doing. What's wrong with trying to fix such a serious issue like that?
