My YouTube Channel Has 150,000 Subscribers & Is Getting 2 Million Views Per Month. How Can I Monetize It?

That's really why I haven't monitized up until this point.

However, since monetization is enabled, YouTube has ad placements on all videos with the money going into the artist's accounts as the copyrighted content has been claimed. So they know I'm using their audio and are fine with it being up as they are making money from it.

My channel has 150K subscribers and the average video I publish gets more then a couple of hundred thousand views. I'm promoting the music and have linked to where the songs can be purchased on iTunes in my video descriptions thus am generating more revenue for the artists.

I am adding value to the YouTube platform and my viewers as my videos aren't just reuploaded audio; I include a well designed visual background with the songs lyrics, which I translate into both Korean and English.

Alot of work has gone into the channel since inception in 2011. I don't see how you could find it bad in any way to want to make some money as an affiliate promoting something relevant to my viewers. Cheers!
