Being put on the wait list is a waste of time. I know many people who have waited on that list and never got a call years later. I also know several people who sat down with a phone book and just went through each doctor in the area and called and asked if they were accepting new patients and most of those people got a new doctor. If you need to call for her do it but DON'T tell them she has a quack doctor. Make up some other reason, she moved, can't get to her other doctor anymore something like that. Also, if she has RA she can make her family doctor refer her to a rheumatologist especially if it's flaring up (although it may take months). Good luck. Healthcare is shit in this province and nobody really even cares even when you are suffering with life threatening aliments.
