Need Some Help With Elite: Dangerous in VR

I'd keep things simple to start with. Don't use EDFX or any other graphics enhancer with VR. I think most people aren't using EDFX with VR, I have not been though I was when playing the game in 2D.

You may need a bit of tweaking to get your framerate just right. What works best for one system may be different on another, but usually through the advice of others you can find a good ballpark config, then you can tweak from there.

Motion sickness takes some time to work through. When I first did ED in VR, I took got a bit queezy, but not I can go for hours in the ship or the SRV with no problems. Advice: Set the horizon leveling viewing mode for the SRV in graphics options. This helps with nausea immensely as rough planets and driving fast can lead to a barf fest haha.

Keep in mind Elite Dangerous set to highest settings can even tax a GTX 1080. But with a 1070 you should be able to run the game at quite high settings. I think you can do VR High, then tweak.

These are my settings for a GTX 970. You should be able to run a good bit higher than this. I set VR Medium to start, then tweak from there.
