in my particular case, i lived in a 6 unit condo with a shared area. the guy's dad bought him a condo to live in. he had a dog and he literally took his dog around all the grassy area and had it shit ALL over the fucking place. so i had had it and came over and said don't let your dog shit behind my house again and he went into a rage and acted like i was telling him what to do. he kept denying it was him but the whole lot was fenced off and only he had a dog. so i got into a huge argument with him and almost got into a fist fight. after that he caught my dad leaving for work at 5am and harassed him and shit. i called the cops on him twice but his dad was this rich guy that had an in with the cop or something. both times it took 2-3 hours and this old cop came, it was like he was off duty and had to get ready to come to this area or something. the second time, the cop talked to me like i was a complete fucking retard. he kept repeating that he'll file the report and that i can check it at the station. basically, he knows that he's acting like a dick because he thinks i don't believe he filed. like 3 months later, the guy moved out and his dad sold that condo at like 10k under price.

it was at that moment that i realized that i was completely powerless in this world.
