Neville: "Same people saying Ranieri sacking is disgusting and a betrayal want another removed from his Job where a board shows the ultimate loyalty!"

Are you fucking kidding me?

Are you going to back that up with anything or is it just disbelief that the former manager wouldn't understand how the club might approach that game?

But we may get to quarter-finals. For the first time in 8 years.

But we may not, we may go out in the group stage, on the flipside we could win it, I concede that but is it likely? With these players and the money we have available, not a chance in hell. And really? That's good enough, people want Wenger gone and out of the club for the sake of a quarter-final? That's it? You want a quarter-final and that's progress that we can all believe in, is it? Let's get rid of Wenger, because we MIGHT get a quarter-final and then get dumped out by the same team that would have dumped us out in the earlier rounds anyway.

I am ready. As long as the club shows ambition and progress, I can wait. What I can't stand though is failing year after year in the exact same embarrassing way.

Waiting is fine because it will be a long wait. But how long are you prepared to wait? Let's say Allegri or Tuchel comes in and they lay out a three-year plan. Let's say we don't win anything in those three years and finish outside of the top four (Which is very likely, considering how close we're cutting it this year and how long it takes to turn a club around for a new manager) and then you're not out of the Champions League, Sánchez and Özil have left because you don't have Champions League football, you can't attract big players because of the aforementioned lack of Champions League football and not as much money to pay their bills. How do you move forward then, it now becomes a five year plan, and you've now gone eighteen years without a league title and now you're left wondering, why did we want a change again? Now we could do a Conte, and win the league outright in the first season, but do we have the quality of squad to accomplish that? According to this sub, no. Walcott is shit (According to the sub), Xhaka is overrated, Mustafi is underperforming, Pérez is Lionel Messi, but our manager (The one who signed him) doesn't notice that and continues to play Giroud (Who hasn't actually started for a while), Ramsey is the worst, Wilshere is the answer to everyone's problems, Coquelin is awful again, Özil is lazy and Sánchez is unprofessional, so that's a lot of dead weight to shift and a lot of people to sign, who again, we can't afford if you want quality and now you have to rely on youth talent, who Wenger already gives trust to and is repeatedly ridiculed for, so what do you expect to change in such a short speace of time?
