NEW GAME - Candy Rock Star + others (60 titles at launch?)

i'm of the opinion it is a global release.

First time ever Samsung has released it's flagship phone in multiple countries on the same day. That alone tells me that it will be a global release. I think Japan let it slip and they should not of because all other countries only announce a release date when the Pre-Orders start, which pre orders always appear from nowhere.

Then my Samsung Store said they were taking a full stock a couple of weeks after the S6 went on sale.

My S6 Oculus app has access to a "Selfie Alarm", voice commands, making calls and text messages, and something called WiMAX, plus a bunch of other stuff the GVR1 app i have does not have access to.

I also think that we will see the Dreamworks theatre and the Imax theatre and at the very least have a place to buy films from.

Another thing that makes me think it is a global release is because those wankers at Mobilefun.co.uk and mobilezap took pre orders since september for the GVR and in january they were told that they would get them in stock to sell on May 9th. Maybe at the time they were talking about the GVRS6.

Whatever the case though, everyone can expect this within the first half of May. it has been stated numerous times it is early May. The hardest part will be getting one in hands though because the S6 is selling like hot cakes and the note 4 never took numbers like the S6 as it is a bit more niche, so they sold out with the note 4 GVR then the S6 GVR will sell super quickly.

I think at the very least we can expect alot of big name apps, like the imax one, because without the big names app on a device that is being released on a flagship phone worldwide, they risk KILLING VR all over again and have people returning their VR units. If people in the masses returned their VR units due to lack of big name brands and enough content to always be abvle to have a daily fresh experience, then it will be a domino effect and kill VR for the next decade as people will be like "I already tried it and I have no interest of going to pay for another unit to try it again". You get that attitude in the millions and VR will fade away again so Samsung, Oculus and Facebook have a huge responsibility in May to make sure people pick up the GVR and then a month down the track are still wanting to pick it up but also still have enough content for the consumer to want to pay and invest money into the device, by way of applications and not only do they need big brands and lots of relevant contents like blockbuster movies, but they also need the one platform that the world is obssesed with and that is Social Media, so they need a way inside the GVR to firstly share the experience with some sort of being able to update with your friends how well you are doing in a game or a game you like, or one you are playing, or a movie you watched, but very soon after that they will need a way for people to interact within social media and the GVR, like going to the movies together while sitting aat your own house etc. Without those fundemental "Standards" that have forced themselves into our lives, GVR and VR in general will be pushed to the side.

"F.O.C.U.S VR" (Facebook-Oculus-Samsung, Virtual Reality) has so much responsibility releasing this device with the biggest selling and the best Smartphone to ever exist. Without the mentioned things above it will mess up all the future VR devices in the works from becoming a mass media product which means the platform being developed further. This platform needs billions of dollars to continue or nobody will continue to fund it. They would not invest all this money into it and then allow it to be released for the Galaxy S6 phone without knowing they have a way to keep everyone's attention. Let's face it, even those of us who Love Virtual Reality probably do not even spend much time on it with the minimal apps it currently has and it kind of sucks not being isolated inside it.

I personally hate social media, but it is the way the world is living now.
