New tank day, extreme edition

Finally, something I know about. You have a Caustic holding tank going into a manifold of pumps. Off the pumps you have another manifold that services all your tanks and systems on that CIP system. The two manifolds means you can use different bumps and lines to CIP multiple things at once. Those run to each vessel and go through a mechanical cleaning device and that cleans with impingement. the caustic gravity drops out of the tank and depending on location can go through a buffer tank and booster pump on the return back to the caustic damn. on the return line there will be a meter so you can detect the interface between caustic and water when you are rinsing.

Rinsing is done the same way. You have a water tank that feeds those same pumps. They take the same path as the caustic. After you go past your detection meter I mentioned earlier it will go to drain.
