What is unconfirmed that a conspiracy against a pizza place in it's basement didn't even have a basement?

PG is a citizen-investigated matter, meaning random concerned folks were looking into it. I don't expect you've ever been a part of an investigation, and thats fine, but try to imagine. You are pursuing "leads," that is, things of interest that you think might reveal more. Sometimes those leads don't turn out. What you are essentially saying is, that just because a lead didn't turn out, that proves the entire investigation is a farce. That is like police looking for a murder suspect where a witness says he had a knife. They stop a guy who matches the description, but he doesn't have a knife, and they say "Well clearly this isn't the guy because he does not currently have a knife, lets pack it up boys, show's over!"
Do you have any idea how dumb that is? Like did you even think about it yourself? or did you just parrot whatever your preferred media told you and accept it as fact?
