Nintendo (actually their 3rd party repair company) sent a repaired Switch back with someone else's account and save data...

I can confirm this. As I am the person who's save data/privacy has been violated by Nintendo. I had order Binding Light from amazon and received it prior to getting my console back from repair. It was the first game I put in that night I got it back. And I've only played 15 hours. Nintendo violated my trust, safety, and privacy. Hopefully I will hear back from them soon in regards to this issue. My biggest fear is that this could happen to a child and that a strange person could track that child down. Nintendo needs to have better privacy and security over customer data. I can understand that hack protection cannot be fool proof. But when my data is physically handled I expect the privacy and security of my data to be at the upmost. Fortunately the first person my data fell into the hands of is a stand up guy. But I have now had others contact me asking me for their save data and that mine is in their console. How many consoles were repaired and sent with my information or potentially other customers in the same situation. This is a serious privacy issue Nintendo needs to fix
