NJ health commissioner: 60% with COVID-19 aren’t cooperating with contact tracing

Because it's disturbing that someone believes they should be the sole arbiter of morality regarding the triage protocol for Covid patients.

The idea that one human being is more deserving to live than another solely based on an action taken they didn't like. That's sick. Do you want medical professionals to disregard their ethical standard of care when you're the patient? Here's a better question. Do you want to put your life in the hands of someone who doesn't think twice about tossing you out to die in a gutter over an error in judgement? Really? You want that? I don't. People like that should never be allowed to work in medicine.

I don't want to hear "But somebody I like better might be turned away from lack of beds!". Yup. That's tragic and unfair. Life isn't fair, it never has been and never will be. Advocating for sentencing someone to death for a hypothetical scenario is disgusting and evil.

Having been a first responder, let me tell you that I would never in a million years consider denying someone care because I thought they were shitty person. Don't know anyone who would either. The whole point of the job is about helping anyone who needs it. Your personal feelings about the person(s) you're treating are not relevant to your duty of care.

One more thing. You don't know anything about these people. What gives you the right to decide who is of better character between people you know nothing about? You want to talk about entitlement and selfishness? How about thinking it's okay to play God over a stupid paper mask? Absolutely disgusting.
