He’s definitely not married or in another relationship. I stay at his place, he stays at mine. His kids know who I am to him.

With his aunt’s family, he’s made it a point many times at how wealthy and successful they are, including her grown kids (her daughter in particular) and has mentioned how judgmental they are. So I think this may have been more to “protect” me because he knows they will probably have shit to say- I don’t know it’s just a guess. The aunt’s husband also has kids from a previous message who are also included but don’t get along with the other kids to there’s some drama there. I figured they have their own family traditions. But the fact I haven’t met them in other circumstances IS odd.
