Whatbprople dont realize is that these people arent really immigrants persay. They largely live and work in another country, have plans to return to that country in the not so dostant future....and send their rlearnings bacl to thay country's economy

I understand. I get it. If youre a middle class indian breadwinner from New Delhi, with a chance to participate in american commerce and better your family situation...why wouldnt you? Humans act on inventives and providing for yourself and family is about as big of an incintive as it gets.

I guess what I'm really doing is playing devils advocate for the Trump-ers that talk about foreigners taking jobs. All actual xenophobia and prejudice aside (amd yes I know it is out there)...that is literally what is happening.

Yes we can blame a failing education system and stuff....leading compabies to seek non-American workers, but there is no reason the American public shouldnt have a the right to enforce how American companies hire on a international stage. Such is democracy, and while it may be inevitable one day, we arent a unified earth government yet.

I personally believe it is the media coupling it so tightly with "fear" and xenophobia. I honestly think there are just scared US laborers hoping for a future, more than actual human-hating angry white dudes with pitchforks.

Shit man, i lost a fucking DISHWASHING job to a hispanic in college that was taking way less than minimum wage under the table. I was happy for the guy and felt bad he wasnt getting a livig wage but..... i got fired man! Its reality
