The thing is legal guns fuck up a lot of people, think of all the accidental shootings for starters. And overwhelmingly most mass shootings used legally ourchased frearms.

Less legal guns is avsiluteky a good thing for society (as shown in pretty much every other civilised nation on earth).

I live in Australia and have had a gun drawn on me three times.

First was as a kid, dude held a gun to my head for laughs. Having a weapon would not have helped me. But running away worked.

The second was by a cop, my car back fired when he pulled me over and he drew his gun. I certainly can't see a weapon helping there, but withdrawing from the car with a gun in my possession certainly may have made things a lot worse.

The third was a dawn police raid on my house. Mistaken identity. If I had a registered gun in the house, the police would have known about it, and things would surely have escalated.

More legal guns haven't made America safer, they have absolutely made things a lot worse. It's amazing the mental gymnastics many of you attempt to ignore this.
