This seems like a good place to post this: Is anyone having a damn hard time trying to gauge this Oakland/Baltimore matchup for Derek Carr?

Most tiered rankings for week four seem to put Carr as a less-than-stellar, but still reasonable start. I've noticed him in one or two columnists "Sit" section, but in most rank composites he's in the top third it seems.

He obviously hasn't been as good as he could be lately. He's missed a few perfect opportunities, such as the wide open post route to Amari last week which likely would've been a TD. Normally you can dismiss bad throws for a variety of reasons, but that one was a real head scratcher; there was little pocker pressure, and that throw sailed pretty damn far away from Amari. Unfortunately, he put up a pretty mediocre 12.86 point performance in standard leagues in that matchup vs. the Titans last week. However, in both his previous starts he posted 20+ point performances and looked pretty reliable in most his throws. But then again, one of those was against the Saints D.

It just seems hard to say "I trust him" based on what we've seen, but difficult to outright dismiss him in games like this one vs. Baltimore.

How do Oakland fans and Carr owners feel about him this week? Are you sitting him/starting him and why?
