Oh man where do I even start, my uncle's entire immediate family is a mess. He and his wife are hooked on heroin, they used to be back in the late 1990's. They actually met in some rehab center or support group thing, I forget. But anyways they sobered up, got married, and my uncle raised my aunt's two kids. She had already had them but they were taken away at birth from CPS, once she sobered up she got them back. My older cousin was 6, he's 18 now. The younger one was one years old when my uncle started raising her as his own. She's 13 now and is in a foster's home. For years they were the perfect family, always had bbq's, watched football on weekends, all of them did sports. Around two years ago though they started acting different, they stopped calling and my little cousin started calling everyone else in the family asking if she could live with them. Fast forward two years now and my uncle is almost 50 and is shooting up heroin and might be on meth, his wife is currently trying to sober up but we'll see. He's in jail right now, last time we heard though he was in the hospital for getting beat up. It's a giant mess that's taking a real big toll on my grandmother, she cries daily because of this.
