Oh no, I'm gonna do it, should I do it? Oh GabeN... Please be gentle! Urrrgghhh!

Sorry for the late response, I got really busy yesterday after posting this, then it was all said & done I just passed out.. When I woke up I had more things to do, but I'm finally free..

I think I'm going to go with the build you provided me, that or the Z97 build I'll link below.. However I'll be keeping the Corsair H110i in mind for when I eventually order this PC.

I had originally chosen that motherboard for 3 reasons, it looked awesome, sounded awesome & I hadn't looked at any of the other X99 motherboards. I had just kind of thrown that configuration together in 10-20minutes without looking at anything hoping to get some feedback on it.

Internal, but yes.. I have several drives in a Raid-10 Array.

The fans are just to replace the current noisy case fans I currently have.. These fans have been good to me these past 5+ years or so, but they've run their course.

When I say future proofing, I don't mean it the way everyone else does.. What I mean is, I prefer to be buying the newest released or newly released hardware so that if I have complications down the road it's not impossible to replace a dead component..

The reason for this is because of my second build; When I built that PC I decided to go the super budget route & settled on getting an older motherboard (about 3years old at the time) at the time, this motherboard worked fine for me for about 4 years & then randomly died.. I went shopping online for a replacement, the motherboard I used had been discontinued, but all hope wasn't lost as there were still many motherboards with the same chipset & would hold all my still working components perfectly fine, however a problem arose when the replacement arrived, it had different form factor which didn't work into my case. So I had to order a new case as well.. I'm a lot more experienced now & wouldn't make the same mistakes, but we don't know how fast technology will advance so getting the newest or newly released format Future proofs it a bit..

It's mostly a little insurance thing, I know it's silly but it makes me feel good.. Dopamine & whatnot.. It's definitely not a "Oh man I just built a beast PC, I'm not going to have to upgrade this for 20years." thing. No, That's just stupid.. but I will admit I did have that thought of recycling the 1200W PSU for several builds, but thinking over it I would probably never utilize the full potential of that PSU during its life time.

Also finally, I actually won the Cosmos II at "The Bonifest" (passing carnival) mini-game. The mini-game 's goal was to throw these 10 really small rings onto the necks of rubber ducks.. Getting a perfect score of 10 rings/10 necks won me the case.. I spent around $35 or so & got a ton of other smaller prizes which I sold for about $80 in total on craigslist. I believe I still have the video of us trying to fit this monster into the back of a 2004 Ford Mustang somewhere on the hard-drive.

I personally love the Cosmos II case, it's kinda somewhat modular If you look at Cooler Masters official store page for the Cosmos II they sell pretty much everything the case has holding it together in spare parts. I think CoolerMaster was planning on selling custom pieces but never got around to it.. If there were other full tower cases that used this format you could probably mix & match them for a unique looks.
