This is a horrible argument and doesn't work in anyway.

But I will play along here. The people that do this are borrowing money to pay for a product. The company that they get the product off get money upfront and don't have to wait. The bank, where these people got that money already have an agreement with the people, they advertised to these people that they would lend them money for interest charged and the rules have been set out in advance.

The customer here has been advertised something they are not getting and the company has taken the money upfront. The company made no arrangements with the customer in advance or advised them in anyway shape or form that the product wasn't ready. In actual fact the company lied to customer knowing that the product wasnt feature complete and therefore not ready.
