I'm white and male, and come off as straight, so 99% of my interactions are with people viewing me as those three things. I can't really remember ever being offended for any of them, but then again I don't live in the USA so it's not the same political climate.

The level and frequency of anti-gay rhetoric I had to endure and from everyone important to me in my life is what has affected me. It's not just my feelings being hurt, it's being made to feel like a complete outsider that is worthless.

You cannot tell me that white males have been told by their parents, by their friends, by their teachers, by their peers that they are a piece of shit for who they are daily. They did not grow up thinking they were freaks.

There is anti Semitism and offensive Jewish jokes all over the place, I'll give you that, but I look at Judaism as a choice, being a white male isn't a choice, being gay isn't a choice. If I could've chosen to not be gay and endure the negativity I would have done it in a heart beat, I tried for a long time to be straight.
