The Order: 1886 review thread with a substantially long thread title

I defend preordering (not just this game, any game) from a liberal consumer standpoint, i despise preorder bonuses (paid for ingame) and marketing strategies and trends from the industry though. How does that make me an idiot?

Example: game x comes out next year, i "preorder" because i am 100% absolutely sure i am going to get it and i want to make sure my copy can preload and i can play the moment it comes out. Sure the game has paid DLC but i am not a robot and i can see through it and decide later on if i think the game overalls quality is appealing me.

The only reason i could regret my preorder is that the game's quality wasn't above the standards i was hoping for but that is MY PROBLEM NOT THE INTERNET'S OR INDUSTRY'S PROBLEM. It can make me think twice to preorder a game from that developer the next time.

I made this example up with a thought of a sequel from a series i already own. A new IP or studio is risky but if you want to preorder the game to play it the moment it comes out, because you've been hyped up so badly you cannot resist WHY SHOULDN'T THEY BE ALLOWED TO DO THIS. Please please please exaplin rationally the correlation between PREORDER MARKETING <-> POOR DEVELOPED GAME.

Also who are you or anyone to say a review is "right"? God i remember people gave so much trash on some games i have immensely enjoyed. How is that possible you say? Well opinions and experiences DIFFER.

Assassins creed unity? i end up enjoying it really really much and i have spent over 30 hours in so far not encountering a single gamecrash. The occasional bug yes but that was patched out pretty fast.

Littlebigplanet 3? NOT A SINGLE FRAMERATE DROP OR BUG. A game i love so much and really feel concerned about us consumers who write stuff thinking their experience = everyone's experience.

Note i didn't preorder the order because the game overall didn't look very appealing to me. Review scores can be an indication but can be pure pure shit as well.

tldr i don't care about preordering beliefs and options through marketing, do what you want with the money you work hard for everyday
