[OT] If only I could watch Formula 1 this way...

How many times have the teams threatened to leave, and how many times did they actually do it?

You must have a pretty short-term memory to not remember BMW and Toyota quitting in very recent memory. Renault are seriously threatening currently. And Mercedes threatened to quit if they didn't update the rules to roughly what they are now.

It does happen, and will happen again without constant vigilance. You can't arrogantly state "they'll never quit". They can, have and will. The only reason more haven't quit at this point is because of preventative action - not people calling their bluffs. Don't get the two confused.

The fact that you are pirating is not bad for the sport, literally nobody cares dude.

Yes it is. I pointed out why very clearly.

My engagement with the sport has dropped hugely since 2010... and not due to lack of interest... due to the policies of FOM. And - clearly - I'm not alone.

If your national broadcast network or whoever used to have the rights lost to Sky in the bidding process how is that FOM's problem?

What?!

You must seriously either have not understood my original post or not read it at all... the answer to this is obvious.

But I'll lay it out for you; less fans = bad. Less availability = less fans.

It is also your problem that you don't want to watch the races if they're not live, it takes a minimum effort to do so.

I have no way of legally watching the races not-live in their entirety. BBC only posts highlights of non-live races - not the full thing.

Also see here for why I feel it's important to watch them live.
