Overwatch League 2020 Season | Countdown Cup: North America Grand Finals | Post-Match Discussion

I think we’ve seen Rush accomplish similar things to Crusty this year tbh.

He’s brought with him Hanbin, Xzi, and Sp9rkle, all players in the MVP conversation. And these are essentially his players and have been for years, so we can assume he’s played a big role in their development, and we know as their current coach he’s the one getting that top level of performance from them consistently. And then you have other past players of his - Fearless, Doha, Jecse - all doing incredibly well in the league beyond expectations (Fearless also in the mvp conversation, while Doha has been putting out those kinda performances recently. Jecse best most consistent player on Outlaws). And that’s without mentioning the glow ups Soon, Nico, and Benbest have had under him. Benbest, the dude in contention for worst MT of OWL 2019, beat the Shock and Fusion in 12 back-to-back maps to win a tournament. What the fuck. It’s like, everything he touches turns to gold.

That said, Crusty’s resume with players is honestly just as impressive. Babybay went from being a bottom 10 hitscan on an already bottom 4 team in season 1, to being that Atlanta based their entire gameplan on (and doing well in that role) in seasons 2-3. Both times I just mentioned were under brad. Only difference between them is they were pre and post crusty’s time coaching him.
