The reptilian thing is not that far out. People just don't like to believe in beings that want to dominate, control, enslave, corrupt, exploit and destroy being in control of their planet. It makes them upset. Believing it isn't true is the best solution, until the proof comes out. Until then, they'll dismiss all evidence and discussion of the matter in order to feel happier.
To those that do consider it, it explains a lot of meta-story of why the Earth is such a mixed bag of heaven and hell. Why is there so much evil in the world? Santa Claus hasn't given out the presents yet. Reptilians feed on energy given off by beings in emotional states of fear. This is why there are sacrifice rituals. This is why the elites who network with these like-minded, domination and control types, engage in sadistic rituals, start wars, and maintain disease. They are taught by these beings to enjoy energy feeding, if they don't already. This energy feeding explains the why of sadism too.
We just don't like looking at this stuff. Basically, if you are a unscrupulous, self-serving being and you go as far as you can in that direction, it leads to stealing the very energy of joy out of the hearts of other beings. It's more common than we think. Even well meaning people do it unconsciously. Misery loves company, because as others enter emotional states based on fear and they release stored energy in the frequency of fear, the miserable one picks up some of it due to their resonance with that emotional frequency.
Some of us have even inadvertently engaged in this. As we try our best to impart the hidden knowledge of the darkness of this world to others, we gain satisfaction when the ones we are trying to inform enter emotional states based on fear. I've seen it myself, FROM BOTH perspectives. It's real to me. It's not like I can measure this energy or see it with my eyes. I see the transfer in the expression of others and the timing thereof. It's virtually a simultaneous change in both sides.
I can't vouch for all of what David Icke says, but this phobia of considering the reptilian problem that MANY others talk about, especially ET CONTACTEES, is comical. It's a running joke like ETs being real to the common man. Has anyone else noticed that whenever there is talk of a dominating and controlling race already occupying our planet, it's always the reptilians, not some other variation? The truth is hidden in plain sight with ridicule. Even conspiracy theorists fall for it time and time again. Nobody want's to look like an ass in front of their peers.
