People are suing trump university for being a fraud, but why aren't college graduates suing their colleges for giving them useless degrees?

Trump University (name changed to The Trump Entrepreneur Initiative in June 2010) was an American for-profit education company that ran a real estate training program from 2005 until 2010.

After multiple lawsuits, it is now defunct. It was founded by Donald Trump and his associates, Michael Sexton and Jonathan Spitalny, in 2004.

The company offered courses in real estate, asset management, entrepreneurship, and wealth creation. Being the brain child of Michael Sexton, who wanted to pay Trump a flat fee for the use of his name, Trump however ended up buying 93% of the company.

Trump University got sued for the use of University in it's name by the state of New York. It was never an accredited University.

The Trump University lawsuits in California concern mainly two things: offering of live events where Trump was expected to show up. He never did show up and people were sad. And the fact that it's not an accredited University, but has University in it's name.

I personally think the story in the media is a bunch of election bullshit. Most judges think the lawsuits are frivolous and have no standing. The Californian judge, Honorable Curiel has proven to be very strong opponent of Trump's candidacy. Not just that, he is an Mexican identity extremist. La Raza, a political group of which the founder sounds like a Mexican version Malcolm X. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F5_u62dhkjQ

On top of that read the bit about why those law suits wouldn't have standing in other states. Civil RICO cases for deceptive business practices because you have University in your business' name is generally considered ridiculous. But not in California.

In addition industry-based certifications, such as a Microsoft certification are common as fuck
