People of reddit who work the day shift at non-haunted businesses and don't spend all your time in the woods, what's the creepiest thing you've experienced?

I started working an office in the downtown area of the city I live in. Having grown up in a small Midwestern town I had never really experienced homelessness or really shady people until I moved to what I consider a large city. I was on an afternoon shift and got off of work around 10 or so, this night was my last night on this shift and I would be going to a day shift the next week. I had parked in a lot closer to my building than normal to celebrate the fact that I wouldn't have to walk to my car in the dark anymore. As I got to the lot a man who looked to be middle eastern approached me and started asking me some fairly personal questions. What part of town did I live in, do I have kids, am I married, etc. I was raised around nosy people and was taught to be friendly to them and treat them with respect so I didn't think too much of it at the time, but when he finished up his questions with do I normally get off at that time, and do I normally park at that lot I instantly got paranoid. My car was the only one left in that lot that night, he was going to know what I drive. But I wasn't planning on parking in that lot anymore after this, and I was no longer going to be working those hours. I didn't want him to get suspicious and do something weird to me, so I said why yes, this is the time I always get off of work, and this is my normal parking lot. I'm a terrible liar so luckily it was mostly true except for the parking lot part, and I didn't tell him about my soon to be new shift. I told him I needed to get home to my husband, who was expecting me, and hurried to my car and left. Luckily, I haven't seen him again since then, this was two years ago. I see billboards warning about sex slavery around the city I live in and I was really worried that this is where things were going. Being raised in a small town makes me really slow to grasp the shady types, but I'm learning as I go.
