I feel that don’t need to justify anything to anybody. But if you’d like to hear my logic:

Basically people lie, they lie about everything, especially if they’ll get something out of it, like say, obedience. So anything humans have had a hand in come with lots of red flags.

The Bible was not only put together by humans, it’s inspirational, but so are many other books written or put together by human hands. It’s a good read though. It’s an ethnocentric religious history of the Jews with a bit of fan fiction added to it. Ironically, it does have lots to say about trusting in man and his machinations:

Psalm 118:8

It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in man.
