I’ve been wanting to buy a new winter coat. I’m looking into getting a good quality wool coat which is gonna be pretty pricy.

Could I go to Walmart and buy a jacket for $25? Sure. But I’d wear it for few times (if I’m lucky) before it started falling apart because it’s poor quality. Then I’ll be right back here next year looking for another winter coat. However if I invest in a solid, timeless wool coat, I’ll be wearing it for years and years and years to come. And if I choose to buy another coat it’ll just be a splurge.

Some of us prefer expensive clothes because they’re better quality and last longer. I’m not about to shop at shein for their shitty, thin pieces which fall apart after 1 use. Just to be back on the site in three months looking for more clothes.

Have you considered not pocket watching. If someone wants to buy beats by Dre, or an expensive suit, it’s not YOUR money their spending. It’s their own. Chill
