People who no longer feel interested in important days like your birthdays, Christmas, New year eve, etc... when did you feel that and why?

This past year, pretty much, at 22, turning 23 in the early summer. After 21 I kinda stopped caring about my birthday, it just makes the number go up, nothing special. Christmas, Thanksgiving, etc., are now just chores where I have to buy gifts for and visit people I don't really like or care to talk to. After my brother left home (making 2 out of 3 children who have left the home in their teens due to my parents being shitheads) holiday dinners are just politely quipping and needling at each other while pretending we're a functional family to the point where I'm just not interested in the holidays anymore.

New year's and Halloween is when my friends get together and drink, but those are about the only two holidays I really give a damn about anymore.
