We have family friends that the husband became a pretty prominent politician by me obviously not going to name names.

For a couple of years it was actually pretty sweet. Nothing really changed except we got out of alot of traffic tickets lol.

Ultimately though a combination of it consuming his life, alot of personal things about him getting out to the public, and a very significant death in his family led him down a huge downhill sprial. Started cheating on his wife with many women and picked up a pretty serious drug problem which obviously destroyed his marriage. We lost touch with them through all the chaos.Really sad story though they are a mess these days.
