Amen. I have endless videos of dogs who are NOT pit bulls running towards myself and my velvet hippo who wears a gentler leader and martingale collar on a short leash. We’ve been attacked by many dogs, not one has been another pit. I’m not saying pits are fluffy cute little dogs for folks who are inexperienced, they are not. They are a privilege and responsibility, and it’s my job as the owner to protect him and others around us. I hate people who give us a bad name by being so fucking careless. It’s people like this who don’t deserve to own amstaffs or Rottweilers or Dobermans or a dog that could do serious harm to others. I really hope this dog that got attacked is okay, and I really sympathize with the trauma of being subjected to a careless dog owner. You all SUUUUUCK.
