You play casual MTG draft at local store, opponent throws cards at ur face. What would u do? - At Ease Games, San Diego

Just saw the thread. Normally I just lurk, but actually made an account for this. So lets get this straight. I was your opponent.

This was a causal event with a normal REL. We were both 2-0 playing in the final round still playing game one. Turn 6, I attacked with a Rhox Mauler (4/4 trample) -- you block with a 2/2 and I ask if that was your only block. Only after I went to put counters on Rox Mauler, you took move that move back and double blocked. No problem--this is casual REL.

Turn 7 or 8, this is where the situation happened. I did not know assigning lethal damage needed to be done in order of blockers. I thought I could do lethal damage to the 2nd blocker without killing the first. The people around us confirmed I was wrong and I accepted the rule. But you started to rant and get heated. The people sitting next to us called a judge. The judge came up to the table and explained the rules. I tried to continue the game by placing my attacker into the graveyard. But you continued to ramble on, even after I accepted the ruling.

After a total of listening to you rant for a total of 5 minutes, I had enough. Your voice was painful to hear and you did not listen. I stood up and started picking up my cards. Then I did something childish out of frustration, tossed my cards on the table. Some of those cards landed on your side of the battlefield--but by no means did any come in direct contact with any part of your body. I was wrong for doing that and the judge, who was still standing there, informed me of my DQ. I accepted that and did not say a word.

From there, I was the only one DQ'd until you started throwing cards. By throwing, I mean some of the cards hit my hands/arms and did go off the table. Judge announced you were DQ'd and after a couple moments of silence walked away. While I was picking up the cards you threw off the table, you said verbatim, "Do you want to take this outside?". I immediately called for judge after that statement--the judge waved me over. While I was walking towards the judge you stated verbatim, "I'll be waiting outside". You voluntarily went outside and waited for a hour waiting to escalate the issue...

You are trying to twist the story in your favor and add in facts that never happened. If I had of thrown cards literally AT YOUR FACE, then I would of been kicked out of the store.

TLDR: I was wrong for tossing my cards on the table, some on landed on your side. You escalated the issue by continuing to act out after the incident.
