Please can we move the political posts to /r/scottishpolitics where they belong?

Even if it did take off, which it wouldn't, politically focussed subs become even stronger echo chambers than general subs that contain some political content.

This sub couldn't get any more politically polarised.
Exhibit A.

At least in a general sub if you don't like the flavour of politics presented you'll stick around for all the other content and occasionally weigh in on issues you know about and disagree with if a controversial discussion comes up.

Do you honestly think that pro-union views are met with thoughtful and civilised discussion here on /r/Scotland?

Then why not have politics posted in r/scottishpolitics and pictures posted in r/scottishpics ? Why not take it a step further and enforce visitors with questions to post in r/scottishtourism ?

Because:
i) /r/scottishpics doesn't exist.
ii) Politics is a very emotive and polarising topic; pics and tourism, less so.

Get rid of all the meme posts too and dump them in r/scottishmemes and while we're at it there's no need for newspaper articles either so let's get more use out of r/scottishnews too!
