Nah, and that's the issue with this - you can't really have the discussion because people always jump to a conclusion that isn't there. Maybe my wording isn't correct, my delivery is poor, whatever it is, but that isn't my opinion.

The hard part of all of this, is that we don't have a platform to discuss it anymore. I have put forward my position based on my experience as a hiring manager. In response, you and others have tried to distill it down to "you think women are less competent" which isn't the case.

The point I was making is that there has been a drive for equality, which in some cases has allowed for less capable people to be put into a position. When it comes to politics, we should be questioning their capability - irrespective of gender, race etc.

If we can't have these conversations and people jump to inaccurate discussions, it prevents any real progress.
