Has anyone appealed there Adult Disability claim and won?

Did they award you anything, or did you not get the rate you wanted? The Adult Disability process is supposed to be better than PIP, but I'm reading more and more comments online and on the Scottish Social Security Facebook page about people being refused.

They obviously can't award it to everyone, and they only get a limit of around £2bn. Westminster has also repeatedly said how they will be keeping a close eye on how its run and how it will be kept under "constant review," but I really hope it isn't going to go the same way as PIP. They are supposed to take into consideration evidence from someone who knows you. Like a carer for example.

Do you know there's also an advocate service funded by the Scottish government?

You can also get advocacy support by contacting Social Security Scotland directly for free on 0800 182 2222 and asking to be referred to the Independent Advocacy Service. They can help you claim/appeal and support you.
