Please share your story's of how you have tried to brake out of perma or have broken somebody else out of perma.

I've been a player on Liberty for a few years now, and there's one round I vividly remember from my first few months.

I had been playing Security quite a lot - I enjoyed stomping shitlers and smashing the grey tide. I had a good reputation as Pistol Pete, a strict but fair Security Officer. This was far before Liberty had our Security officers started with their full gear. I had late joined a round that was eerily quiet.

I made my way towards security to retrieve my hear, and started seeing jumpsuits and clothing on the ground, but no blood. I was a bit disarmed by this, so I started to hurry up and get to the security office. I called out over the radio, hoping to get a response. My calls went unanswered, and I made my way down the security hallway.

And then I spotted him. Wordlessly, he stunned me. As I cried for help over the radio, he laughed and handcuffed me, stripping me in the hallway and leaving my clothes lay where I was stunned. He laughed and drug me away towards the permawing.

As we entered, I saw what sort of sick fiend he was proving to be. Other crewmen were trapped in the cells, stripped and cuffed, as well. One crewman was attached to an electropack and the man had set a motion sensor attached to a signaller in order to randomly shock him. Another was straight jacketed, and burned severely by a welder, with the man healing and burning him. The rest of us poor cretins were throw in the cells.

He had made one mistake. The soap was still in the bathroom. This is when I would make a lifelong friend, in Mandingo Steel. Mandingo and I plotted, and stood ready to escape this hell.

As the man killed his current plaything, he decided went to retrieve another victim to toy with. It was then when the four of us rushed forward, slippery, naked crewmen with one par of soap and pens brandished.

The soap would prove ineffective and caused the death of one of our comrades, who valiantly distracted our great enemy. It was only the disarms, combined with a found screwdriver to the his eyes that would prove his downfall.

As the dust settled, we took stock of our situation. Drained, after 30 minutes of captivity and witnessing the torture and capture of other crewmen, we collected ourselves, with fairly little words exchanged. We called the shuttle, burned our enemy's body, and collected our dead.
