Like Google certification fucking matters? Why don't they IGNORE Google and stick GApps anyway, along with some whacky hack to trick Google Play into thinking the device is certified. As it is, Xiaomi doesn't (officially) sell their phones in the USA, so Google's desires shouldn't fucking matter. Any company has the right to use Android, and every user has a right to have Google Play included on their devices along with Netflix capability. I legitimately hope that somebody makes an uprising against any organization that pulls this kind of certification/DRM crap. All devices are EQUAL and should run any software that the user/manufacturer desires (assuming said software is not malicious). It is rediculous that you have to SEND BACK your phone for a DRM update.
