US police three times as likely to use force against leftwing protesters, data finds

Perhaps property destruction was essential in the immediate aftermath of George Floyd during the summer and helped align a large coalition of Americans behind the movement, but potentially is doing more to shift public opinion from the underlying movement at this current juncture.

Keep in mind, I am not advocating that it is fair for the public's frustration to shift from police brutality to property destruction when there has not been substantial reforms in policing. However, if we are focused on outcomes (I.E: Policing Reforms), is continuing to have protests that feature property destruction a superior strategy to continued peaceful protesting?
