[Portfolio] Graphic and Web Design/Development

Hi Alex,

I really like it! the layout is clear and easy to understand, and the typography looks great.

I have some small, nit-picky things that you might like to think about.

I'm sorry to say, but I don't really like the grey squares around the headings. I understand that they're probably there to tie in with your logo/brand, but I feel like they detract much more than they add. And I think they work even less when the headings are left-aligned, like in your resume. Maybe get some second opinions/play around with it a bit more?

I think I'd prefer the look of the border dots around the menu if they were the same scale as the other dotted lines in the design. I think it would look cleaner, and I think the logo does enough to attract the eye, without needing the larger dots too.

I didn't understand that the arrow in the footer was a "back to top" button. After scrolling all the way to the top of a page, I scrolled back down to see if there was a better way, and experimentally clicked the arrow, and it DID take me to the top, but it should be much clearer than that. I think if you had it centered at the bottom of the content, but ABOVE the footer, I'd be more likely to click it.

I'm not sure how well it works to have the links in a different font. I find it a bit stilted or something. Possibly if you dropped the link's underline down a pixel or 2... I'm not sure.

The work itself looks really great, good choices on your portfolio. The only thing: I hate the drop shadow under the web design examples.

And one last thing! On your home page, the image underneath the title "precise" looks kind of blurry to me (I'm on a phone) which kind of contradicts the whole "precise" thing.

Sorry to pick it apart like that if that's not what you wanted! They're just small things, and maybe some are just personal taste. Overall I really like it, it has something that makes it look different (in a good, unique/original way) to other design portfolio sites.
