Positive advice to someone who's single and getting nowhere?

This may not be positive but keep in mind that there's others who are going through the same thing, some people are just less lucky when it comes to finding someone they truly connect with.

I'm in my 30's, the only one in my circle of friends who isn't in a serious relationship or married and also finding OLD to be a nightmare. I joined a hiking group recently and actually met a woman through that but unfortunately it didn't work out.

My only advice is to not let the failures get to you personally. Like I said, some people just happen to find that meaningful relationship early on while others have to spend a little more time sifting through incompatibility before they find that special someone. Just stay positive about who you are and make sure to capitalise on every opportunity as it comes along.
