There are a lot of ppl that believe in microchips, some believe they are in COVID vaccine and those ppl are usually clueless af. I would not call that delusions or schizophrenia, it's just poor tech knowledge mixed with conspiracy theories and anyone could fall for it.

But logically thinking this is all bullshit, I am no expert in tech and chips but I think something like that would be also very expensive maybe like $1Mil per person if it's even possible and also what the fuck the chip is supposed to do without an energy source floating in the bloodstream, okay maybe if it gets stuck somewhere in the brain then maybe it could get the electricity from the brain itself but then how would it transmit signal, does it connect to satellite or something and then how does it bind to the brain ? It would be like micrometer size device invisible to naked eye packed with such tech... maybe in 5000 years :D
