i don't get your point. i'm stating facts not opinions.

i've created zero hit shows, in fact i'm haven't created any shows. they do tons of research into things like this, they take lots of other things into account asides from ratings esp on the cw since their audience memebrs are smaller. nielsen tracks social media mentions now and that's part of what sell to advertisers. they also conduct favorability research, there are companies who are paid to access which charcater, storylines is popular or not. one of them is located in mgm grand vegas and has arrow as one of it's clients. they know far more than we do. plus, demos are the only things that matter really and this episode was .9 which is normal for the show.

guggenheim doesn't owe me or anyone anything, he likes some people over others on social media and he talks more to some people and not to others. that's his right. i'm not one to tell a successful tv producer advice on how to do his job or tell them what to do and who to interact with.

and yes you misunderstood me. i have no "should" no unasked for social media advice for anyone. i do think that when you cherry pick what the writers say and post it on the sub without any context about the days and weeks and months when all they talk about and talk to are olicity/felicity fans that it creates a false expectation amongst some people. bec a lot of the sub doesn't check on their tumblr and twitter, so all they know is what is brought here. and if you were to be honest, the ration of pro laurel/pro lauriver to pro felicity/olicity is very very very skewed. it's just giving people false hope imo.
