First of all I have posted 2 drawings over the last 12 hours. (3 including this one). One of which was just a drawing I had done for my own satisfaction and happened to leave a comment about my comissions. If you could kindly look at my previous artwork I have more artwork on just generic artwork rather than saying commission me! commission me! on various entries. I actually self-promoted in the most obvious way on the /r/ffxivart and others I just answered to those who left comments of interest.

Many have asked on the comments asking for my commission link or asking if I was open to any despite me just sharing some simple art presents I drew for a couple of friends. The reasons why I say the word commission on some of the work is because (a) I do not wish to take credit on the customization of the following characters uploaded (b) to show I am commissioning in a non-direct way (i don't see why this is a problem) and (c) I want to be honest on what I am working on.

The reason for this post is not because I got a single negative comment on my previous post that got deleted. It was more of a rant on how some may be quite childish with their comments or there may be no need to be nasty about it.

To be honest I don't even know what it said because it was deleted before I saw it. You may not have noticed but I take criticism quite well with people telling me harsh things about my artwork. I take them seriously and pursue further to improve as they have taken time to sit down and think about what was wrong or good about my work.

There is nothing wrong with self-promoting and people who do not like this can choose to ignore it. No need to cause aggro over the fact someone wants to just be show themselves to the other members.

It's a shame that this post makes you perceive me as an attention and money seeker because it tells me that you do not seem open enough to go through what may the root cause for this.
