[Post-Game] Jazz lose to Pistons 95-92

I usually don't bitch about the reffing in games, but one thing that REALLY bothered me about the officiating was the fiasco at the end of the third quarter. Hayward got thrown down fairly hard on that breakaway (Stanley Johnson FUCKING SMILED afterwards thinking it was fucking funny). The refs were rather slow to even call a foul there even though it was obvious. I can totally see that going either way on flagrant or not though. Couple plays later and we get the flagrant call on CJ. I don't see how it was anything more than a routine foul, yet they go review it (why the hell wasn't Hayward's reviewed? I cannot fathom why it wasn't, because every other hard breakaway foul like that seems to get reviewed), and in baffling fashion they call it a flagrant 1. Get the hell out of here with that garbage, even Boone and Boler were stunned with the call. AT LEAST have some consistency with your calls.

I frankly fucking hate refs. I really do. Home cooking IS a thing generally whether anyone wants to admit it or not (obviously the rare exception was tonight). And one thing I actually do agree with when it comes to Harpring is that veterans and stars get more foul calls than rookies and younger players. That one is obvious. Refs should be completely blind to whom they are giving fouls too. When Harpring says things like "Neto will get those foul calls in a few years..." my stomach fucking turns, it's unacceptable. Rookies should be getting calls NOW and not have to "wait a few years" until you get them. Refs are supposed to be neutral. Neto should get the same fouls called as Lebron, Hayward should get the same fouls called as Drummond. It's one thing that absolutely bothers me time and time again about the NBA.

Apologies to everyone for my rant. In the end the refs didn't matter a ton in this game. The Jazz continually shot themselves in the foot throughout the game and the loss isn't necessarily on the refs and the loss really should be on them.
