The difference between a great night and a bad night for Hart depends on his approach. Whenever he tries to do anything more than just be a brick wall between the shooter and the net, he fails. He's not the tallest goaltender, and his reach when compared to other goalies isn't as large (take a look at the first goal tonight - tried to poke it away and simply couldn't). He's very agile and quick, but he plays like a "larger" goalie when he simply shouldn't be. Recently, he's been "locking up" and taking too many conservative movements when he shouldn't be, and making the wrong risks for his build.

Love the kid, but he needs to solidify HIS OWN TECHNIQUE and APPROACH to the position.
